Energy efficiency pays off in Nybro
A collaborative project with industry and the municipality of Nybro on energy efficiency. A methodology has been developed where coaching, staff engagement and customer focus have been key ingredients. SSSE has been project manager and worked with the three environmental firms OrchIdé, Utredarna AB and TH Konsult AB under the name "Energy Savers". The project ended in December 2009 and right now we sketch around a continuation and an expansion to other regions.

Kaliningrad Landfill Gas
We prepared a feasibility study for Kaliningrad City regarding the possibilities to utilize the landfill gas and reduce the environmental impact. The project was acomplished by Sustainable Sweden Southeast, FLK AB and Vatten och Samhällsteknik AB. The project was mainly financed by EU Tacis Programme and delivered during 2004.

District Hospital in Poland
Our mission was to make an inventory of the status of the existing plant. This enabled us to give the management for the hospital a task program and a priority list for needed investments to upgrade the hospital to modern EU standard. The sustainability study was carried out by a group of companies within the Sustainable Sweden Southeast network and delivered during 2005.

River Nevezis Feasibility Study
We prepared a classification of the geochemical pollution and assessment of the hydrological data following the corresponding guidelines of EU for the Panevezys Municipalities. As a result we also presented proposals for the future use of the renewed area.

Green City Can Tho in Vietnam
We introduced, developed and implemented Agenda 21 environmental management, an integrated Waste Management system and improvement of the fresh water supply in Can Tho City in Vietnam.
The main activities were establishing training sessions and information seminars, capacity building at technical, political, and administrative level, and creating awareness and willingness to a sustainable behavior in the general public.
The project was acomplished by Aarhus County, Kalmar Municipality, Green City Denmark and Sustainable Sweden Southeast.
The project was financed by the Asia Urbs Programme, Danida and Can Tho City.
